Little Quilt

While the big quilt I have been "working on" for more than 5 years now still sits in it's bag waiting for me to take interest again, I have managed to come very close to finishing a little quilt for the baby. Putting the actual quilt together took hardly any time, but the binding is taking forever! We are driving up to Detroit in a few weeks, and I hope to knock it out on that drive if not before. But here is a sneak preview.
I love the different feels of all the fabrics.

And just something that has been on my mind recently ... I read that the bones in the baby's ears are forming right about now. That means that there is a chance that the baby is beginning to hear things ... starting with my voice apparently. I'm trying not to yell at Drake as much!

Thanks {D}! Tanner has a powerlifting competition there. He did it a few years ago as well. There is a nice park beside the place so I could excape the testesterone when I needed to! I'm actually looking forward to the mini-vaca.

When are you guys going to register for baby stuff, cuz I constantly need a reason to SHOP! :)

Love the quilt and the colors!

Ha, whenever thebump.com tells me too! I'm using the checklist that they have to keep me from getting too carried away with stuff like I tend to do. Right now I am just supposed to be "planning the nursery."
