Heartbeat!

Tanner and I got to hear our baby's heartbeat this morning. I am at 10 weeks today, which is pretty early to be able to hear it. The doctor was moving the ultrasound head around all over the place and I didn't think it was going to happen. Then, for just a few brief seconds, we could hear it. It was so fast before he lost it I was kinda unsure if I really heard it or not. But it was so fun for those few seconds! I guess I get to hear it every time I go now, so it might become routine, but the first time is incredible! Now I have proof other than my tiredness (oh, and the "error-proof test") that I actually have a little person growing inside of me. It is crazy how quickly they develop in there. Here's a picture of what the baby looks like. How in the world do they get those pictures anyway? This one looks kinda like ET! But the elbows already work and lots of the organs are already functioning. Crazy!

Aw! That is so exciting. It really is amazing how we are created. Cool picture, great find.

Later on, you will want to hear that sound, just to make sure that everything is still ok in there. It never stops being exciting. :) I had to come find you somewhere to make sure you were doing well. Tanner didn't answer my facebook question. ;)

Rub your belly for us and tell the little one in there Cory & I said hi!
