This is my first post. I'm excited about yet another way to let people know what is going on in my life, even if we don't live nearby anymore. So, here goes!
Tanner and I just got the chance to celebrate Christmas here in Northern Michigan with Debra, Jon, Caleb, and Jon's dad. It was fun to have family around and still be home for Christmas.
We cut down our tree for free in a nature preserve here because it is an invasive species. Therefore, it was a bit Charlie Brownish ... but not bad considering it is really a weed! Plus, with the twinkling lights that I bought accidentally and the presents beneath, it really ended up looking quite nice. We'll see if I can get a picture of it in here.
Hey, that worked nicely! I hope you all had a Christmas filled with family, good food, and lots of time sitting around just enjoying the peace of the season!
